Mélie is an Advisor at Soft Paris since September 2014 and she is now a Leader. She nicely gave us an interview, the occasion for her to tell us about her feelings and her expert tips.

Could you introduce yourself in a few words?

My name is Amélie, but since I was a child, everyone’s called me Mélie. I’m 29 years old, I have a four year old daughter and I live in Seine-et-Marne. After obtaining a Masters in Auditing, I worked in an accounting firm and then as a head accountant for 10 years. In 2014, I  decided to make a change and began a correspondance course in psychology and sexology in view to becoming a Marriage Councilor. At the begining of September 2014 I began working as a Soft Paris Advisor.

What advice would you give to a new Soft Paris Advisor?

Forget all the niggles or prejudices you might have picked up in the past and look towards your future.

What advice would you give to someone looking to become a Soft Paris Leader?

Live the Soft Paris life with passion. When you’re passionate about what you do, you can spark people’s interests without even realising, then you’ll find all the support and signatures you need to become a Leader.

How did manage to surround yourself with such a great team?

Loads of fantastic meetings, affiliations and friendships. It is a group with really diverse personalities where there’s a place for everyone.

Was there a point in your career with Soft Paris where you realised you really realised it was what you wanted to do? And if so, when did it happen?

It really clicked during my fourth reunion. There wasn’t that many clients, only four of them had been planned (there had been a lot of last minute cancelations), but I decided to go anyway. When I got there, there were only six women and all of them were older than me (I was a bit stressed about what they might think of me), but in the end I spent a fantastic afternoon. I met wonderful people, it was my first reunion with a four number sales revenue and I got loads of compliments on my presentation. I was proud of myself for overcoming what I thought was going to be a challenge and I realised Soft Paris was perfect for me.

What are your ambitions?

I want to keep meeting interesting new people at Soft Paris Parties, expand our wonderful Eden team, which I’m really proud of and win first place on the Soft Paris team podium.

What are the secret to your success at Soft Paris and in direct selling?

It’s the perfect job for me, it allows and helps me to manage my time better (my job at Soft Paris, my studies and my family life…) and most of all I feel like I’m making a difference in empowering women. It’s a way for me to say “Stop, sexuality shouldn’t be a taboo”.

The old saying - “An honest woman doesn’t have pleasure” is outdated, today  “A woman should be able to enjoy her sexual life without being ashamed”.
